Northwest Professional Services Corp.

Northwest Professional Services Corp., owned and operated by the Battlefords Tribal Council (BTC), is proud to advance BTC's commitment to justice and skills training through the Battlefords Tribal Council Justice Program and the SITAG Program. The Justice Program supports Indigenous-led initiatives that promote fairness, cultural respect, and community-centered justice solutions, while the SITAG Program provides skills development and training opportunities to empower community members for meaningful employment.

SITAG Program

Our SITAG (Saskatchewan Indian Training Assessment Group) Program offers robust employment services designed to help individuals prepare for and succeed in the workforce. Through skills training, decision-making tools, and partnerships with local employers, SITAG supports career development and economic independence for community members.

BTC Justice Program

Our BTC Justice Program provides essential support for Indigenous individuals in the criminal justice system, offering:

  • Aboriginal Court Worker – Guidance and advocacy within the legal process.

  • Alternative Measures – Community-based alternatives to traditional sentencing.

  • Family Court Worker – Assistance for families navigating criminal and family law matters, ensuring they understand their rights and options.

  • Community Justice Worker – Restorative justice solutions such as mediation, healing circles, and offender accountability programs.

  • Post-Sentence Support Worker – Dedicated to creating and sustaining community connections for individuals at the post-sentence stage.

Member First Nations

The Battlefords Tribal Council (BTC) proudly represents the Lucky Man Cree Nation and Poundmaker Cree Nation.
